It's built on a simple idea: local women discover and champion female-led businesses, and those businesses give back - sharing their expertise, supporting other women and strengthening the community around them.

Our Mission
Brilliant Women-owned businesses Hiding in Plain Sight
There are women nearby with real experience, knowledge and expertise - running businesses, retraining, building something new. Many are brilliant at what they do, but not always comfortable shouting about it.
Women Who Lift Women exists to close that gap - creating real chances for proper conversation, where those women get to talk about what they know rather than sell it, and get discovered by people who could actually use it. That's the purpose.

Women come because the topic caught their eye, they fancy meeting new people, they're weighing up a change, or they just liked the sound of a good evening out. Come curious. You'll leave having had a proper chat and probably a few new numbers in your phone.

Great - come and share what you do. Properly, not in a thirty-second pitch. This is where you meet real customers, collaborators and women who'll refer you without blinking. It's relationship-building and genuine customer-finding - it just happens through conversation instead of a hard sell. Bring business cards if you want (we won't tell). Just don't lead with them.

No. Some women who come do, plenty don’t. Come because you’re interested in the topic, the people, what’s happening locally - or just fancy some good conversation
IS THIS A NETWORKING GROUP?
Not the schmoozy, business-card-collecting kind. Professional connections happen all the time, but conversation comes first.
CAN I COME ON MY OWN?
Absolutely. Many women do. You won’t be the only one - and you won’t be left hovering by the drinks table.
WHO COMES TO THE EVENTS?
Business owners, freelancers, employed women, career-changers, SAHM's, creatives, retired women and the simply curious. There’s no typical Women Who Lift Women woman.
WHAT KIND OF EVENTS DO YOU RUN?
Coffee mornings, panel evenings, seasonal showcases and workshops. Different formats, same idea: bringing women together in real life.
WHERE IS WOMEN WHO LIFT WOMEN?
Right now, our events are in the Chew Valley, many at the lovely independent Chew Kitchen. But we have bigger plans.
